Interests outside of Taekwondo: I help run a student organization that matches undergraduate mentors to young Korean adoptees in the New England area. We aim to help mentees get in touch with their heritage as well as have someone who looks like them to rely on through any childhood or adolescent struggles.

More about Nari: I studied abroad in Lyon, France for a semester and loved it! If my plans for medical school fall through, my outrageous back-up is to be a French/Korean/English translator for the Olympics and watch all the taekwondo matches, up close and personal.

Thoughts on the ECTC (INCTL) or Taekwondo in general: The ECTC is one of the best things that's happened to taekwondo in America. It's the only level where athletes are not just focused on winning but are also dedicated to helping one another become better.
