More about Tara:
I started Taekwondo during my freshman year of college, and to this day I believe it's one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Thoughts on the ECTC (INCTL) or Taekwondo in general:
There is nothing in the world that comes even close to the energy, excitement, and camaraderie of the ECTC. During a match, no matter how tired I am, I can always count on the cheering of my teammates (and the cheering of my opponent's team for their teammate) to keep me going and push me farther. On the other side, there have been times when I have cheered for my teammates so much that I have lost my voice by the end of the day. But every cheer that lead up to that temporary loss of vocal function was worth it, because I know that it helped to push my teammates a little farther. Yet, despite how much cheering each team does for their own teammates, I know that I can go up to the very people that I cheered against and confidently call them my friends.
