Interests outside of Taekwondo:
My life right now mostly consist of Taekwondo and research, though when I find the time I enjoy trying to find the answers to silly questions. For example, in the book series A Song of Ice and Fire, there is a character who takes his own daughters as his wives. Under some general assumptions, how many children would he be able to have over the course of his life? I also enjoy reading science fiction short stories and novels.
Thoughts on the ECTC (INCTL) or Taekwondo in general:
I started Taekwondo when I was about six years old, learning alongside my two older brothers. I continued my Taekwondo education up through high school, taking a break in my undergraduate years to become involved in rugby and other casual sports endeavors. As a graduate student, I found that I missed having TKD as a part of my life, so I sought out the MIT TKD team to get re-involved. I have since become heavily involved in the MIT team, largely due to the amazing community that Master Chuang has built at MIT, and the greater family that exists due to the efforts of all of the ECTC members.
