More about Taeyoung: I love working with children so I try to teach children's classes and I'm also a teacher for elementary school children at my church.

Thoughts on the ECTC (INCTL) or Taekwondo in general: I used to think of all of the non-UConn athletes as just competition in the start of my ECTC career. Over the years, through the different competitions and the All-Star trip this year, I've grown to really appreciate the community. I think it's great that we can be fierce and competitive on the mat, but also very supportive and friendly off the mat. The coaches and athletes from other schools have been nothing but great to me and each other, and I think that's something we should work hard to keep. I've also grown to love different aspects of Taekwondo, including poomsae which I never appreciated before. ECTC has and will continue to fuel my love for Taekwondo.
